Since 1926 Colonial brand of knvies has been valued by generations. A Colonial Knife purchased during the 1950's for a dollar or two is worth today between $200- $300. You can't argue the phenomenal returns-unless you bought gold $500.
either way you win. many will purchase several of the same style; one to use, and one to save-and one to give as a gift. ENJOY!
Colonial Knife products ALL come with a lifetime warranty. Colonial Knife blades far surpass conventional blades in cutting ability and edge holding. Colonial uses either a high grade 1095 steel that will hold a Rockwell hardness between 58-60 C hardness, or the Colonial 400 series cutlery stainless steel with it's Rockwell blade hardness at 55 C and the marine auto shackle and marlin spike knvies are 430 marine grade stainless and now offers 154CM.
To ajust the blade tension and deployment speed for the switchblade knives use a 1/16" Allen- for the Blackie Collins Quick Flick knives model 7001 use a 2.0 mm Allen and 2.5mm Allen for the 7002 and 7005. The Colonial Bushcraft knives use a 154CM steel Rockwell 60C
